The Lady Musketeers traveled to Ramsey, Indiana to take on the improved Lady Cats of North Harrison. It took four hard fought sets (25-22, 25-22, 25-27, 25-20) to pull away with a win, but the ladies were able to improve to 17-5 on the season. Tonight, they will host SAC rival Borden (15-7, 5-0) in a late season match up undefeated conference teams. At North Harrison, the team had a great performance from senior, Sidney Burton who had some key kills throughout the match and played solid defense. Sidney finished with 19 kills, 14 digs, 2 blocks and 3 aces. Sidney now has 152 aces on her career. Avery Smith had 21 kills, to go with 12 digs and an ace herself, while sister Addie Smith had 46 assists, 15 digs and 7 kills. Eliza Starrett had 18 digs. The JV won an exciting match in 3 sets, coming from behind in sets 1 and 3 and to win (25-22, 15-25, 15-13. In the third set they came back from being down 6-13, going on a 9-0 run to finish the match).
